Learn through community.

The best way to really know and understand what we believe at Anthem is being involved in one of our local community groups. Love cannot exist outside of action - which at Anthem is best shown through our groups.

We'd love for you to join a group in your community, and begin connecting with others with the same heart and mission.

Adult ministry

We believe strongly in the words of Jesus from the book of Acts of the Apostles chapter 1 (NIV) where it states, “…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” This means we are not only witnesses and building up one another in the faith but we also are witnesses to those living in our city (Jerusalem), state (Judea), country (Samaria) and world. To that end we have a wide variety of ways adult can connect into Jesus’ Kingdom work and form friendship with others at St. Paul and well as build relationships with others to the ends of the earth. These opportunities come in many forms such as Sunday morning, midweek and evening bible classes, volunteer opportunities in the school, ways to serve in our Human development ministry in helping people with food needs, Working in other cities in Florida through our disaster response program or maybe your heart is with those on the other side of the world. We have a sister village in Guatemala which we travel to where they will bless you and you can be a blessing to them. There are also opportunities to connect with people in support groups like GriefShare and our cancer support. Volunteers are always welcome and a blessing so if you like helping with worship needs, music and tech support and church/ school upkeep, we have a place for you. Many of us lead a busy life yet we lack connections and ways to build friendships. If that is the case for you, we also have some different men’s and women’s social groups that meet to fulfill that desire. Plus as a body of believers we are open to starting new things and maybe that is your gift and desire to start something that we currently do not have. Feel free to contact one of the staff for more information on one of these or other ministries not mentioned here.

Community Groups at Anthem

Community Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues, as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men's/women's groups, home gatherings, and other personal settings.

Get Connected in Community!

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, which is why we encourage you to get into a small group.

A community group is a group of three or more people who gather each week in a home, workplace, or online. In a group you’ll hang out, study the Word, and pray together.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, kids, no kids, workplace, under 20, over 40 — the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. Ready to dive in?
